Scott’s Monster Charity Challenge

Scott Brownlie is attempting to cycle 31miles and hike 41 miles for Maggies centre in a charity event called the monster: http://monster.maggiescentres.org/. Scott has to raise a minimum of £400 sponsorship, the club have donated the use of the lounge and he has also been given the use of a disco, so he intends to host a quiz / disco night and charge all entrants £5. All monies taken and raised on the night will go to Maggies centres and count towards my entry fee. Tickets will be available from the bar.

New Catering Partner

The Club are pleased to announce that Julian Weir will be our new catering partner. Julian comes with an excellent reputation for quality, good value food and he aims to run many themed and special events. We hope that his services will be well supported by the members. Julian will take up post on Wednesday 27th February and he has asked me to inform you of his first headline initiative.

Mother’s Day, Sunday 10th March

Julian will be offering a two-course three-joint roasted carvery for £9.99 or three courses for £13-00. Children aged under 12yrs old can eat for half price.
